East Feliciana Rural Water System, Inc.
On Monday, March 12, 2018, EFRW issued a Boil Advisory for customers on Hwy 958 between addresses 120 Hwy 958 & 392 Hwy 958 due to a leak on the main. Consumers should boil water until further notice.
Even well insulated pipes have been damaged under the extreme freezing temperature of the past several weeks. As pipes begin to thaw over the next few days, customers are urged to inspect their service lines and isolate any damaged areas until repairs can be made.
Your help in this area, will relieve the strain on the wells, pumps, and motors that been running non-stop in order to meet the additional water demand.

The Boil Advisory issued on March 12th has been lifted. Samples were approved by DHH and water is considered safe for consumption.
Due to winter Freeze Warning, customers have been running excessive amounts of water thru their service lines in order to avoid frozen pipes and busted lines.
EFRW is asking customers to back down their water flow to a consistent drip. Due to excessive usage, EFRW has not been able to recover water storage and will not be able to maintain water flow at the current usage for the duration of the winter freeze, and an outage will occur. In order to avoid this potential outage, we are asking customers to comply immediately.
